MVPA Fall Rally in Spooner, WI – September 2005

The 5th annual fall rally and get together in Spooner was fantastic as usual. We had over 300 people from as far away as New Jersey. We also had near 200 vehicles attend. Over 40 of them went on the 35 mile convoy to see the fall colors. We only had 1 minor problem with Mike’s GP that was on its maiden voyage, and no one got stranded. This rally is by invite only, so if you are interested in attending, drop me a note and we can let Kevin know for next year. It is always held the first weekend after labor day. It’s a great family event. Here are some photos.

These last photos taken on the convoy were inadvertantly shot in Black & White. They look more like World War II photos. We were in the WC 63 a ways back from the front of the convoy, and still all you could see looking back was OD GREEN. It really is a neat sight to see all these trucks driving like this.
